The Secrets of Mars

Royal Cornwall Museum, Truro TR1 2SJ

£5.00 Ticket

Can humans live on Mars or is it all science fiction?

Meet Professor Sanjeev Gupta, a key scientist from the latest NASA mission to Mars, and NASA scientist Dr. Claire Newman. In this special event the pair will be sharing the secrets from the Perseverance Rover, that has been searching for signs of ancient life on the Red Planet. They will talk about the instruments that are being used to learn about Martian weather and the planet’s huge dust storms.

Join us to find out whether Mars could ever be inhabitable to humans, see the newest footage and hear about finding from the latest rover exhibition.

This talk is part of the Evening of Invention, a partnership event by Royal Cornwall Museum and Agile Rabbit, inspired by the Marvellous Mechanical Museum, an exhibition by Cabaret Mechanical Theatre.
