Global Systems Institute

We created a companion sell-out event for the University of Exeter’s Global System Institute.

The Global Systems Institute at the University of Exeter held an event that celebrated the 100th birthday of James Lovelock. Taking on his pioneering approach to thinking about the Earth as a living system, the event explored how we can apply this to help create a better future.

Our companion event ‘Can I do anything about climate change?’ which welcomed speakers including Penelope Endersby, the head of the Met Office and Piers Forster, lead author of IPCC reports and member of the Committee on Climate Change. We started with some poetry and finished with some live music: we like to mix in the arts to make things more palatable!
