Otter Goggling

Accessibility and Walk Itinerary

The River Otter flows through Otterton Mill, a village in East Devon. We will walk along the river banks for approximately 1 mile. We will be in close proximity to open water throughout. Please bring waterproofs/sunprotection as appropriate and wear sturdy footwear as there may be hazards along the path.

Public Transport: If you would like to attend, but don’t have access to a car, get in touch with us at contact@agile-rabbit.com. We are happy to advise you on other alternatives.

Meeting Point: We will meet in front of Otterton Mill Cafe and Restaurant ( EX9 7HG) from 2.45 PM. Please be mindful of where you choose to park as there is no public car park in the village.

Start: We will start walking and head towards the footpath along the River Otter at 3 PM. Please be aware of the road if you are late and want to catch up with us.

Walk: We will be on our feet for around 75 minutes with little to no opportunities to sit down for a short rest. We will head back to Otterton Mill for approximately 4 PM.

Toilets and Refreshments: Otterton Mill Cafe and Restaurant is open between 9.30Am until 5 PM. You can purchase refreshment and use toilets there. Please bring water and snacks as required.

Accessibility: Due to the nature of the path, this is not a wheelchair accessible walk. If you are interested in attending a walkie talkie, there will be two fully accessible walks over the summer: The Benefits of Blue Spaces and Fantastic Fungal Forage. The walk is suitable for those aged 8 and above.
