Dr Naomi Murdoch
Part of the Space Systems for Planetary Applications (SSPA) team, Naomi Murdoch has a MPhys in Astrophysics from the University of Edinburgh (2007) and a PhD in Physics and Planetary Sciences from the Open University and the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis/Côte d’Azur Observatory (2012).
Her research interests are linked to understanding the geophysical evolution of asteroids and terrestrial planets. Dr Murdoch also studies how space instrumentation interacts with the surface environment of planetary bodies in order to prepare interplanetary space missions and to allow the most precise interpretation of the data possible.
